The Arts Council of Martin County inspires participation and passion for the arts in our community. Programs offered by the Arts Council include fine art exhibits at the Court House Cultural Center, arts education programs, ArtsFest, the High School Juried Art Show, the mARTies Awards, Cultural Conversations, and eco-art initiatives.
Since 1980 the Arts Council has served the Martin County community and its visitors. The Arts Council envisions a vibrant and thriving community where arts and culture are woven into every aspect of life. As a regional leader, the Council stimulates and advances the creative economy.
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much,” said Helen Keller. The spirit of collaboration is alive within our cultural community. This philosophy is the basis for a project we have championed over the many years the Arts Council of Martin County has been in existence. It was our founding dream to have a physical space that could be home to multiple cultural organizations and artists in a wide range of styles, ages, and media (performing, literary and visual), where creative ideas, collaborations and programs could be fostered.
