KidSafe Foundation a 501c3 nonprofit began in 2009 as a grassroots effort to protect children from child abuse, bullying and internet exploitation through comprehensive education to children, parents, educators, and professionals. With incidents of child sexual abuse and exploitation on the rise, we were intent on creating a meaningful practical method of prevention where none existed. As long-time experts in the field, we understood that an effective approach to prevention must include equipping children, and the adults who care for them, with knowledge, skills and a platform for openly addressing these real concerns. As a result, we created a unique educational curriculum for parents, teachers, schools, and professionals that focuses on awareness, identification, strategies for prevention and effective protocols for reporting abuse.
KidSafe Foundation has served more than 55,000 children and 30,000 adults in Florida. KidSafe is an approved program in Palm Beach County.
