McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary provides a forever home to over 200 native and exotic animals. Some were pets. Some were owned illegally and placed with us by wildlife officials. Some were neglected or abused.
Today, our resident animals are happy, healthy, and loved my many. They serve as ambassadors for their species, educating visitors on the importance of conservation.
In addition to our permanent residents, we treat hundreds of native animals that are brought to us by residents of Palm Beach County. These animals go through our rehabilitation program and many are able to be released into the wild. However, this comes at a great cost…
All money received will go directly to the care and keeping of our animals. We do not receive any government funding, and rely totally on donations. Our lions, tigers, and other big cats eat $1500 worth of chicken every 2 weeks! We also feed $700 in beef and $600 in produce to animal each month.
Thank you for considering a donation to McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary.
