The mission of Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center is to expand and enrich the lives, bodies and spirits of children and adults with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities through the benefits of therapeutic horseback riding and equine assisted activities, while serving the therapeutic riding profession through training and education.
Vinceremos has been serving those with disabilities in Palm Beach County for 35 years. The center started with one rider and one horse in the backyard and has grown to a state of the art facility on 15 acres with 20 horses serving 600 riders per year.
The programs at Vinceremos include therapeutic horseback riding, therapeutic carriage driving, hippo-therapy and equine assisted learning. All of these therapies center around the horse as a partner in teaching equestrian skills, social skills and life skills. Additionally, the body is strengthened and balance is improved while building confidence and self esteem. The participants in Vinceremos' varying programs come to the center through word of mouth, recommendation by their physician or through our collaborations with other organizations.
Vinceremos is dependent on the financial support of our community, grants and fundraising events. The center depends on volunteers sharing their time to help in the barn, and with the lessons. Without this support we would be unable to meet the demand equine activities and sharing the joy of horses.
